Strategic Thinking
I am able to produce and adpat high-quality content across a variety of mediums and formats.
Content is expensive in terms of both time and money, and I work to make the most of the investment by repurposing and reformatting it.
I've been told that my greatest strength is being able to take a complicated idea, or even a rough draft, and make sense of it in a visual manner.
I can be given a messy spreadsheet or process, and I can translate it into simple terms with visuals elements to guide others to a greater understanding.
I love sinking my teeth into something new and learning from subject matter experts.
Getting into a creative flow state with another person, generating ideas, and making an awesome product, are my favorite things about work.
ABOUT
With a diverse background spanning technology, healthcare, language education, and broadcast news industries, I bring a blend of marketing, customer experience, journalism, and operations experience. While I collaborated with others on projects displayed on this site, I've singlehandedly produced the end results of the content you see here. I've also been a contributing member of larger projects like website redesigns, print projects, and employee recognition programs.
As an in-house content creator and marketer for several tech companies, I navigated a fast-paced landscape in highly competitive markets like Denver, Colorado, and Richmond, Virginia. In understanding the intricate needs of tech audiences, and crafting tailored marketing campaigns, I helped drive recurring business.
While serving as a Communications and Marketing Manager for a nonprofit hospice in Evergreen, Colorado, I honed my ability to communicate sensitive topics with grace and authenticity, fostering connections within the small mountain community I served. I worked to communicate the hospice's mission effectively, and in turn, helped raise funds to support those in need.
After resigning from the tech sector in late 2023, I developed this mission statement: Educate and inspire communities and individuals to be closer to nature and mimic nature, through presentations, models, and content. The more time I spend in natural spaces, learn about them, and spend time with others there, the more I want to use my energy to encourage others to appreciate the natural world as well. I look forward to connecting with organizations I can support while living out my work purpose.
